PDO Threading

About

PDO Threading

PDO threading is a thread lift treatment that acts like a facelift without the surgery. This treatment works by lifting sagging and smoothing skin with PDO (polydioxanone) threads.

What is it?

PDO threading uses sterile, absorbable PDO (polydioxanone) threads that are injected and absorbed into the skin. When administered, the threads are lifted up, which tightens the skin. As the threads absorb over time, they begin to build collagen and elastin through the body’s natural healing process.

Through a customized treatment plan, PDO threads are strategically placed in sagging areas of the face, such as the jawline, jowls, “marionette lines,” oral commissures, nasolabial folds, and cheeks.

Dermal fillers are also often paired with this treatment to volumize and complement the effects of thread lifts, while also providing a better scaffold under the skin when threads are applied.
